ABOUT ARCHBISHOP KEVIN

🔱 ABOUT THE BISHOP

✠ Primate Archbishop Кевин Филд

The Holy Catholic Orthodox Patriarchate of America

The Society of VaticanX

From his earliest years, Archbishop Kevin was formed within a heritage deeply rooted in both the Catholic and Orthodox traditions of the One Holy Church. This foundation was not merely cultural, but spiritual—marked by reverence for the ancient faith, the sacred liturgy, and the unbroken continuity of Apostolic Christianity.

Within his family lineage are preserved accounts connecting his forebears to the missionary era of Orthodoxy in America, including the witness of

Saint Tikhon of Moscow

and

Saint Raphael of Brooklyn—

figures who labored to establish and preserve the Orthodox faith on American soil. This legacy has remained a living influence, shaping both his devotion and his sense of responsibility toward the Church.

From a young age, there existed a profound interior calling—not toward position, but toward service. This calling matured over time through prayer, study, and lived experience within the life of the Church. In the year 2025, this sense of vocation became unmistakably clear, as he was recognized and began to be addressed as Patriarch—not as a claim of personal elevation, but as a burden of spiritual guardianship and responsibility before Christ.

In 2026, this mission entered into deeper alignment through communion and shared purpose with VaticanX and the broader work of the VIE, centered on the preservation of the original Apostolic faith. This alignment reflects a unified commitment: not to create something new, but to guard what has been handed down from the beginning—the faith of Christ, the Apostles, and the earliest Church.

Archbishop Kevin’s ministry is rooted in a singular conviction:

That the Church of Jesus Christ is not an invention of men, nor subject to reinvention,

but a divine reality—received, preserved, and faithfully lived.

His work today, through the Holy Catholic Orthodox Patriarchate of America and the Society of VaticanX, is dedicated to:

  • Preserving the Apostolic Faith without alteration
  • Teaching the fullness of Christ as received in the early Church
  • Supporting clergy and faithful seeking unity in truth
  • Calling all people back to repentance, prayer, and the life of Christ

He does not present himself as one to be followed, but as a servant—

pointing always to Jesus Christ, the Head of the Church,

the source of all truth, and the salvation of the world.
