HUMBLE MERCY REPENTANCE FORGIVENESS – the life
In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Brothers and sisters,
Christ is supreme. I am not. I am a sinner just like you. That is why I write this from my heart, not from any throne or title.
According to the original faith the Apostles handed down, we cannot accept all religions as paths to God. Christ gave us no option. He commanded it straight: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6) He did not say “many ways.” He did not say “all roads lead home.” He said only through Him. The Apostles repeated it without softening it: “There is salvation in no one else” (Acts 4:12). The Didache, written while the Apostles were still alive, calls it two ways only — the way of life in Christ and the way of death without Him.
This truth is not up for debate. But here is where we must get it right: how we hold this truth.
Pride has no place. Ego has no place. Fighting who is right has no place. That is the devil’s game, not Christ’s.
The life Christ commands is this: humble mercy, repentance, forgiveness.
We tell the truth because we love. We do not look down on anyone. We remember we are all sinners who need mercy every single day. We repent first — of our own pride, our own hardness, our own failures. Then we forgive quickly, the way Christ forgave us while we were still His enemies.
This is the life. Not arguing. Not condemning. Not blending other gods into our altar. Just humble mercy, daily repentance, instant forgiveness, lived out in love.
When someone follows another path, I do not sneer. I do not stay silent either. I say what Christ said: “Come to Me.” I serve them. I feed them. I pray for them. I show them the door that is Jesus because He commanded me to. But I do it on my knees, as a fellow sinner who only found the way by grace.
This is how the Apostles lived. This is how the first Church grew — not by force or pride, but by love that was real. This is the Catholic and orthodox way: hold the truth without compromise, but live it in humility, mercy, repentance, and forgiveness.
My dear ones, this is the life I am trying to live every day in our Saint Tikhon Mission. Join me. Let us kill the pride together. Let us repent together. Let us forgive together. Then the world will see Christ in us, not our egos.
Only through Him. Only in this way.
Your brother in Christ,
