✠ My First Letter: On Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

It is fitting—truly fitting—that my first writing here be not about a man, nor about a title, nor about any work of this world, but about Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

This page is not about this old bishop.

It is not about position, nor rank, nor recognition.

It is about Christ,

the One who created us,

the One who sustains us,

the One who calls us out of darkness and into life.

For what is a man, if he speaks and does not point to Christ?

What is a ministry, if it does not lead souls to Him?

✠ Who Is Jesus Christ?

Jesus Christ is not merely a teacher.

He is not only a prophet, nor simply a figure in history.

He is the Son of the Living God.

He is the Word made flesh.

He is our God, who came into the world not to condemn it, but to save it.

He walked among us in humility.

He healed the broken.

He forgave sins.

He revealed the Father.

And in His great love, He gave Himself upon the Cross—

not as a symbol, but as a true sacrifice—

that death itself might be destroyed,

and that we might be brought into life eternal.

✠ Why He Came

Christ did not come to make bad people behave better.

He came to raise the dead to life.

He came to restore what was lost.

To call sinners to repentance.

To open the narrow path that leads to salvation.

And He still calls today:

“Follow Me.”

Not tomorrow.

Not when it is convenient.

But now.

✠ The Call to Know Him

To know Christ is not to know about Him.

It is to:

Pray Repent Forgive Walk in humility Live the life He has given us

This is the way of the Apostles.

This is the way of the early Church.

This is the way that has not changed.

✠ A Humble Prayer

I pray, humbly and with all sincerity,

that within these writings you may find words that stir your soul—

not toward me, but toward Jesus Christ Himself.

That you may come to know Him more deeply,

not as an idea,

but as your Lord, your Savior, and your God.

✠ Let Us Walk Together

Let us walk with Christ,

not in division, not in confusion,

but in the fullness of the faith once delivered to the saints.

Let us walk together in the

One Holy Catholic Orthodox Patriarchate of America,

seeking not our own will,

but the will of the One who sent us.

For He alone is the Way.

He alone is the Truth.

He alone is the Life.
